So I went to Jesus Culture In January and it changed my life. Thousands of young people gathered in Redding, CA at Bethel. It was AMAZING! I wish I could describe the encounter I had with God but it really was indescribable. One artist whose music blessed my life was Jake Hamilton. He is truly a genuine man of God whose music and lyrics reflect that. I would recommend you take the time and listen to the lyrics of these songs. They will bless your life. The Anthem is one of my favorite songs from him.

The other artist that was there was the Jesus Culture band. They were a blessing to my life as well. Take a look at the video below.

It’s Official, I’m back!

After almost a year it seems, I’m back! I have to say I am really excited to start writing again about our adventures. The first thing I want to talk about is Aimee’s wedding. Its coming up really soon! I cant believe it! I am really excited for both Aimee & Charlie. I have to say Charlie, you are a very lucky man. Aimee, not so much lol jk.

So in the beginning of this month, Nicole, Brit, Aimee, Andrea, and myself went shopping for the bridesmaid dresses in LA. WHAT A MISSION! First, I hated the location and the people were the worst. We had to try on our dressed in these dressing rooms that didn’t have any mirrors and to make things worse, the man working there wanted us to share a dressing room. HA! That was a joke. There is no way I was going to share a small room with brit, Andrea, and Nicole. Can you really picture all 4 of us in a small dressing room that doesn’t have a door? HAHA it was a curtain! LOL!

Ok, so it wasn’t as bad as I am making it seem, but I have to make the story more interesting, right? Well, we ended up picking these tube top, knee length dresses in a pool color. FYI, I ended up changing my dress size to a bigger one because I was concerned about the fit. I am not used to wearing these body fitting dresses. It made me feel uncomfortable LOL. I only hope now that the dress is not too big where Its falling off LOL.

On another note, I am trying to figure out what song to sing for Aimee & Charlies wedding? I am trying to find the perfect song that resembles their love for one another. Here are a couple I was thinking of:

Cherice, I read your second post. Don’t worry about a job. I am still looking for one. I was taking care of my niece for two weeks while my grandparents were away to Mexico. Now that they are back I am hunting. I know you will find one. I will be praying for you, so I hope you pray for me. As for David, I support your decision no matter what. Things happen for a reason, so there is only one way to go, forward. Can’t wait to see you; see you soon!

ITS FRIDAY!!!! YAY! So I might be going to Long Beach tomorrow because David has a soccer game. I am not sure yet; however, If any of you will be in the area text me and I will let you know If I am going or not. David is not sure if he is going to go because he is sore from a previous game. Aywho, I hope you are all doing fine. I talked to Nicole that other day and I told her we should all get together sometime at the beginning of next month. Comment back if you like the idea or not.

So, Terminator Opened today and I am not so sure If I am going to go see it. I was reading some reviews from people who saw it and they r not as good as I would have liked. Most people said it was a waste of time. As of now, I think I am going to wait to rent it. I have watched Star Trek so many times I think I should start saving money lol.

Well, I recoreded the Ugly Betty season finale; I still have not watched it. I only watched about 10 min of it. Last night I was watching the Lakers Game 2 so I could not watch Betty. They lost by 3 points btw. I am so Bummed!!! It’s ok they will make it up in Game 3 on Saturday.

Anywho I hope all is well and keep coming to my blog. I will try to blog at least 2 times a week.

Ok so Nicole has been trying to get me to blog so here it is. Last week I enjoyed every part of not doing homewok; however, I did not sleep in. Almost every day I woke up at arpound 6:30 to make my brother breakfast and take him to school. This week, Sara has asked me to take care of Bella until my grandparents come back from Mexico. So, I am babysitting for two weeks. It is not as bad as I thought it would; however, I do hate being inside the house doing house chores. I could never be a stay at home mom. Right now she is sleeping; however, I should be putting some clothes in the washer, but that can wait. So how has everyone been? I miss you all and can’t wait to go see you all soon. Anywho, there are a few things I would like to say to some of you:

Aimee: Guess what?
I am watching John and Kate+8 right now lol. Also, I still need to watch the last episode of Taking the Stage. I am so behind on some of my shows, I missed last weeks episode of Ugly Betty and this Thurs is the finale! I am soo behind on Gossip Girl. Also, American Idol result show is tonight so YAY!!!

Brittney: I have watched Star Trek 3 times!!!! I am obsessed!!!! I don’t know why but every time I see it it gets better and better lol. I would actually go see it again…. Also, last night after Idol they showed the first episode of the Fall show Glee you want to watch. I have to admit it was pretty good, so you should watch it when you get the chance too. Oh I almost forgot, Samantha Who? got cancelled! I am so sad!!!

Nicole: Have you looked into prices for those Galaxy tickets I told you about? Let me know or else I will get the tickets somewhere else.

Aimee, Brittney, Nicole, Tami, Kristen, Cherice, Kiki, Vince, and Charlie: Hola! I miss you all and can’t wait to talk to you all soon. We need to all get together soon!

Oh Terminator is opening this Friday. I need to catch up on all the old Terminator movies before I see this one.

LAKERS WON the first game against the Nuggets last night!!! It was a close game all throughout the 4 quarters. Anywho game 2 is Thurs and I will be watching. 79% of teams who win the first game end up winning the series; statistics look good for the Lakers lol.

Benihana Night

So I have to say tonight was a lot of fun. I have not laughed so hard in a while. Ok well that’s not true, but you get the point lol. Well as I mentioned in my last post, 9 of us were on the list to attend and we all showed up! This rarely ever happens in our group. I am soooo stuffed! I can still taste the food in my mouth.I had the Benihana chicken picante; it was not picante. It was more like a sweet sauce than anything. It was still good nevertheless.

One of the big surprises of the night was David. I have to say the man was hilarious. He made me laugh a couple of times and he was a lot of fun to be around; Charlie seemed to get along with him as well.

We also had the opportunity to meet Tami’s friend Thomas. He was nice, not as talkative as I thought he would be, but then again we were all stragers to him. I will have to give you a full summary Tami lol.

I think we can all agree the night was so much fun. We should make it a date to go again sometime in the summer!

Aimee when you can you should upload the pictures on Facebook ( that goes for you too Cherice and Nicole)

Well I have to get back to my homework; I am going to be up late!

YES you guessed it, AMERICAN IDOL!!! haha I am going to miss Rock n Roll night, what a bummer lol. Well I am excited to be going to Benihana’s but why oh why did we choose Tuesday again?? I am going to miss my favorite show this season and it is really starting to hit me hard. I am really sad and depressed. I wonder If I can just watch it on my phone? I am still up!!!

I really should be going to sleep, but I can’t. I am now regretting that Starbucks I had earlier. Well, Brit is still up doing some homework. I think she will be going to sleep sometime soon. As for me, I am just here listening to New Radicals and typing away about pretty much nothing. I really need to go to bed.

Oh, I just remembered, Aimee and I watched The Reader. Brit was in and out of the movie, she was doing homework lol. Back to the film, there was A LOT of nudity. Thank you Nicole for renting it for me haha. Well, I really did not know what to expect, I just knew I really wanted to see it. Well, I saw it already; I saw a lot more than I wanted to. It was a well written film and the acting was good; however, I think the nudity was sometimes unnecessary.

Merging on to another subject, Nicole was sleeping, AGAIN. I am not surprised. What did surprise me though was that this time she fell asleep on Brittney’s brown chair. I know, I was just as shocked as you all are. Apparently Nicole can sleep just about anywhere lol.

I am looking up her condition online. Here is her diagnosis:

Nicole has Narcolepsy. It is a chronic sleep disorder characterized by overwhelming drowsiness and sudden attacks of sleep. The condition is most characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness ( Nicole sleeping on our white couch), in which a person experiences extreme tiredness and possibly falls asleep during inappropriate times, such as at work or school ( sleeping during movies and conversations with friends). Individuals with narcolepsy should avoid jobs that require driving long distances or handling hazardous equipment or that require alertness for lengthy periods.( no more LA or San Diego trips). They may find it helps to take a nap before driving if possible or have a scheduled nap break during a long driving trip.

So as you all can see, It is not all Nicole’s fault. She can’t help but be who she is. There are support groups to help her. Just remember Nicole, I am here for you. Whenever you need to take a nap, feel free to come over; the couch will always be waiting for you lol.

Moving on to more serious news, Brittney is married. I know I was just as shocked as you all, but it is true. It happened this weekend with Mr. Davis and it is confirmed on Twitter and Facebook. If you don’t believe me, call Nicole. She has pictures from the beautiful event lol.

Ok it is now 3:13 A.M. I need to go to bed. Brit just moved her mattress to the living room again; I am not surprised. I think our neighbors are making beautiful music again. One of these days I am going to go over there and tell them how wonderful they really are…..NOT. Time really does fly when you are having fun.

I have to admit I have not seen some of you in a while. I spent the whole weekend with Aimee and Nicole. It was fun and we watched a lot of movies lol.

In case you all didn’t know, Nicole and I are trying to set up Brit on a blind date. We have created a Twitter account for her under Badamsdavis. We are updating her status as we speak lol…. Brit i a very interesting person to follow lol. It is fun, so If you ever get a chance to go on Twitter you should look her up.

Ok on other news, I do miss you all. I am talking about you Cherice and K10. I have not spend time with you both in weeks. I hope you all are doing great; hope to see you both sometime this week, or next week.

As for the rest of you, the ones I do see on a regular basis, I have a few things I would like to say to you:

Nicole: STOP SLEEPING OVER SO MUCH!!!You practically live here now haha lol…. No I do not mind you coming over so much, it is like having a 4th roommate again. Although, I do have some concerns about your sleeping habits. Every single time you sit on our white couch, you fall asleep. I am starting to get worried about this; I will consult a doctor first thing in the morning haha

Brittney: STOP GOING ON YOUTUBE SO MUCH!!! I know I know, I am the one who instigated that drug to you lol. However, you need to stop. As a friend, I think it is my responsibility to let you know when I think you have a problem. I will be looking into some centers were you can go and discuss your problem. It is not just me, we are all concerned for you lol. It doesn’t let you do your homework, and it keeps you up really late. It is for the best if we block youtube from your life.

Aimee: STOP WATCHING THE HILLS!!! or anything associated with those people. I have never met someone who knew so much about real people that he or she did not know. Oh wait, I do know a lot about Johnny haha. I think it is best to leave The Hills, The City, and all those THE shows behind. They are not reality, and they are not even interesting. They have been having the same drama since High School, and they are just plain uninteresting. I think it is safe to say stick to Survivor. At least that show does not have THE in it.

Tami: STOP TALKING ABOUT THOMAS AND BRING HIM OVER!!! Your friends want to meet him, especially me. I promise I will not embarrass you, I will behave like a proper lady lol. Other than that, I have nothing else to say to you except this: COKE IS BAD!!!

K enough of this, I need to go finish vacuuming the room so I can return it to my RA. Have a good Monday you all!

Fighting Might be worth watching

So I was reading some critics reviews of the movie Fighting and I have to say most have been positive, receiving an overall grade of a B+. Whether you think this film is worthwhile or not, Roger Ebert, acclaimed critic, does. I trust his judgments on movies, which make me more interested in waiting to see the film when it is out on DVD. I will not spend $10 dollars to see the film, but I will go out and watch it once it is out on DVD. Ebert gave the film 3 out of 4 starts; he gave the film a higher score than The Soloist.

Here is what Roger Ebert had to say about the film:

“…Populated by believable losers and lovingly adorned with just the right faces…”

Both actors are set to star in the film called ” The Fighter”. The movie is set to begin filming in July. As you all know I love Christian Bale. I don’t mind Wahlberg, but he is not my cup of tea. I am looking forward to this movie which does not have a release date yet; my prediction is that the movie will open in the Fall of 2010.

Did you know that Stephanie Meyers had always wanted Henry Cavill to play the role of Edward Cullen in the twilight series. According to reports, I think the major reason he was not cast was because he might have grown too old for the part. Cavill is 25 years old now, about 3 years older than Pattinson. I don’t know about you, but this guy is a lot better looking that Mr. Pattinson. I wouldn’t have mind seeing him play the vampire Cullen.

Ok, so I know you are all dying to see the New Moon Movie which hits theatres November 20, 2009. Well, I have found a picture that might make you move more on team Jacob’s side. Now I have to admit, when I saw Twilight I though those vampires were pretty pale, but somewhat cute at the same time.

Well, for this movie, they are adding some much needed tans and some hot abs to look at. I don’t know all you Edward fans, but I have to admit, the wolf pack looks pretty hot and tanned. lol.

Jacob is not featured in this picture, but I can only guess he looks as good as these fellas

Ok, so I know everyone is stressed out with all the homework, tests, and papers and presentations you have to finish before the semester wraps up. Don’t worry! I know you will all do great and finish strong. If you are worried because you have procrastinated on a few things, it always helps to remember who is writting this blog lol ( I am the #1 procrastinator in the world).

Well, there are a few things coming up that I will be doing with 1 or both of the roomies in case you all want to join. If you need a break or just want to come hang out with us, feel free. I am soo tired of doing homework right now! Blogging about something fun seemed like a better idea.

Ok, so there are a few changes that have occured. I cannot believe how stresfull finding a day for our last get together has been. So earlier today, I got frustrated and passed the torche on to Nicole. Nicole can handle the stress of planning, I CANT!!!

So the date has been set for May 5th. I know I know its finals week and we all have testS to take, but so do I. I have a lot of tests I need to study for, so I will be having a study night on Sunday May 3rd at 7 PM for anyone who wants to join me at IHOP on Harbor. I will post another posting on this a couple of weeks from now to remind you all.

I am super excited to have dinner with all of you. I don’t think we have all been together since who knows how long. It will be semi formal so feel free to dress up and look your best. For once I will be wearing a dress, something I do on rare occasions.

Anywho, please please please all try and make it. I have heard from Nicole that a lot of you are going to be able to make it and I am excited for our last BIG event.

Ok, so time of dinner is set for 7 P.M. We will be going to the one on Irvine. If you can’t make it at that time, feel free to show up later.
